I painted this while listening to relaxation music. My goal was to create a contemplative mood.

I started this painting with Painter an finished it with Photoshop.
I've been using the Airbrush-tool most of the time. I created a texture for her gown, the rest is all hand-painted, with custom brushes.

Halloween evening. The sun sends it's last warm rays of light through the leaves before night falls and this night will be very different! It is said, that there will be ghosts and evil spirits, that will take the souls of everyone they can catch.
But the little elf is not afraid. He starts playing a wonderful tune as his pumkin starts to shine it's light. Autumn is my favorite season. I love the warm and mild days, the colorful leaves. I enjoy every day, because I know it won't last very long like this. Soon there will be storms, rain and fog, the leaves will be fallen down from the trees... the magic will be gone.

Do Something Special Today for the Animals in your Life
World Animal Day takes place every year on 4 October. Animal welfare groups, sanctuaries and individuals throughout the world hold special events to heighten public awareness of animal issues and to encourage people to think about how we as humans relate to animals.

With our art project "Genesis - Spirits of Nature" we want to inform people about endangered animals and what they can do to help them.

Cheetahs are very elegant animals.
Ancient Egyptians often kept them as pets, and also tamed and trained them for hunting.
Cheetahs are included on the World Conservation Union (IUCN) list of vulnerable species (African subspecies threatened, Asiatic subspecies in critical situation) as well as on the U.S. ESA: threatened species

This time I didn't try to copy a photo, I wanted to give an artistical feeling.

Owls are my favorite birds at the moment.
Here is some information about owls:
Most owls are nocturnal, but several are crepuscular, or twilight active, hunting mainly at dawn and dusk. A few owls, such as the burrowing owl are also active during the day.
Most owls see well in poor light, but all see well in bright daylight--something that even the most nocturnal northern species have to do during the arctic summer. The owl's eyes are almost immovable, and the owl must turn its head to look elsewhere; however, some species can rotate their heads horizontally 270 deg, or about three-fourths of a circle, and can turn their heads completely upside down (180 deg).
I used Photoshop to color the sketch.

I love animals. The kingfisher is one of my favorite birds, though I have never seen one in the nature.
